Biography
Known to friends and family as Willie or Willie Mae, I am a native Houstonian and a product of the Houston Independent School District. I'm a three-time graduate of Prairie View A&M University, with additional graduate study at the University of St. Thomas and Houston Graduate School of Theology.
I am a life-long learner and a career educator with experience in a variety of professional roles, including classroom teacher, school counselor, professional registrar, and assistant principal. I am also a licensed professional counselor with experience in both hospital and private practice settings.
I'm a mother and grandmother who enjoys teaching and encourages continued learning and personal growth.
