Biography
Pattie Thompson serves as the Director of Prayer and Women's Care for Grace in the Wilderness Ministry. Her love for God began at an early age through Sunday School, where she learned the stories and teachings of the Bible. As a young girl, prayer became a source of comfort, allowing her to share her fears, hopes, and concerns while trusting God to protect and guide her loved ones.
As Pattie matured in her faith and experienced various seasons of life, God revealed how many of those early prayers had been answered. Those experiences became powerful testimonies that she now shares with others, encouraging them to trust in the power of prayer and the faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
For more than 30 years, Pattie has faithfully served in ministry through Children's Ministry, Women's Ministry, and the Angel Tree Program, helping families in need and volunteering within the community. She has a special heart for women who are walking through seasons of grief, loss, and uncertainty, offering compassionate support, encouragement, and prayer.
Ministry Role
As Director of Prayer & Women's Care, Pattie leads the ministry's prayer efforts by coordinating the prayer team, overseeing confidential prayer requests, and providing encouragement and support to women in need. She also develops prayer resources and organizes prayer-focused events that help women grow deeper in their faith and relationship with God.

Personal Testimony
Through life's many experiences, including the grief of losing loved ones at a young age, being a single mother, marriage, and the loss of my spouse, God has remained faithful every step of the way. Philippians 4:19 has been a constant reminder that He will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Through every season, God has provided strength, comfort, guidance, and support for me and my family, proving that He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
A Prayer from Pattie
Heavenly Father, thank You for being a God who knows all things and sees all things. You alone are worthy of all praise simply because You are God. Father, today I lift up every woman who visits this website. Many are walking through wilderness seasons of grief, substance abuse, divorce, loneliness, job loss, fear, illness, and other challenges that may be keeping them from moving forward. Lord, as they visit this site, let them see Your light through the testimonies that are shared and through the women You have called to serve in this ministry. As they journey through these pages, may they experience Your grace, mercy, love, and encouragement. Remind them that no wilderness is too great or too small for You. Your Word tells us that You are close to the brokenhearted, that You will never leave us nor forsake us, and that You can make rivers in the desert and move mountains through faith. Lord, let every visitor know that they do not have to face their wilderness alone. Guide them, strengthen them, protect them, and draw them closer to You each day. May they find hope, healing, and renewed purpose in Your presence. In the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
