Biography

Renisha Pope serves as the Director of Development & Nonprofit Administration for Grace in the Wilderness Ministry, bringing a wealth of administrative expertise, organizational leadership, and a heart for service to the ministry. As a Human Resources and administrative professional with Spring Independent School District, she is recognized for her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting people with excellence and integrity.

In her ministry role, Renisha oversees nonprofit administration, organizational development, grant and funding initiatives, compliance, and strategic planning to help ensure the ministry is equipped to grow and fulfill its mission of bringing hope, healing, and biblical encouragement to women walking through life's wilderness seasons.

A devoted Christian, Renisha's faith has been both her anchor and her source of strength through life's greatest challenges. As a breast cancer survivor, she has experienced firsthand God's sustaining grace and now passionately advocates for women's health, early detection, and breast cancer awareness. Her testimony of resilience and unwavering faith serves as an inspiration to women facing difficult seasons, reminding them that even in the wilderness, God remains faithful.

Renisha is also a proud single mother to her daughter, who is currently a junior in high school. She considers motherhood one of God's greatest blessings and is deeply committed to raising her with faith, character, and perseverance.

Committed to lifelong learning and servant leadership, Renisha is currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, reflecting her passion for justice, advocacy, and making a meaningful difference in her community.

Guided by compassion, resilience, and a heart for ministry, Renisha is honored to serve alongside the leadership team of Grace in the Wilderness Ministry, helping build a strong organizational foundation that will support women for generations to come.
