Learning to Trust God in Every Season

There are moments in life when trusting God requires us to surrender what we understand and place our confidence in what He knows. TRUST is a reflection on thanksgiving, faith, surrender, and the assurance that God remains present through every season.

T — Thanksgiving

Thanking God every day for His blessings—my life, my family, and my friends.

Giving thanks to our Creator for heaven and earth, forgiveness, kindness, love, and understanding the value of peace.

Teaching me the error of my ways all the while.

Taking me to a new level even to this day continues to amaze me.

Telling me to TRUST all His ways and lean not on my own understanding.

So, with thanksgiving, I am His always.

R — Relieved, Rejoicing, Reaching, Remembering

Relieved that at this time in my life, God has removed harm from me before it reaches my path.

Rejoicing when I think of the number of times God saved me and stopped the devil in his tracks. You do the math.

Reaching out to the masses with the Good News that God gave me to give to you.

Remembering that if you give your life to Christ, He will make you new.

U — Understanding

Understanding that it is not my will, but Your way, Lord.

Understanding the good and the bad—going through the fall just to come out tall.

I’m more than a conqueror. Knowing God is on my side, why not surrender my all?

S — Simple

It’s simple.

Study God’s Word. Surrender to God’s path and not the way of the world.

I suggest meditating on His Word and receiving daily encouragement to keep the mental highway clear.

I dare you to try Him.

You’ve got this!

T — Till

Till the day I die, I will TRUST Him!
